Entrepreneur Work Visa

This is a pathway to Residence for those enterprising individuals who wish to set up a business in New Zealand. This work visa allows the entrepreneur to work and live in New Zealand for up to 3 years while working on his/her proposed business in New Zealand. To be eligible to apply for this work visa, one needs to have minimum points of 120 according to Age, business experience, capital investment, location of proposed business, number of employments and export value (if any).

Investor 2 Visa

This is a direct pathway to Residence for those who could make substantial investments in New Zealand for at least 4 years. Its selection is also based on points.

Investor plus Visa

This is a direct pathway to Residence for those how could make a significant investment of at least $10 million in New Zealand. There is no age limit, business experience or English requirements.

Skilled Migrant Category

To be eligible to gain residency in New Zealand under Skilled Migrant Category (SMC), one needs to have minimum points according to Age, Qualification, Skilled employment and work experience. Currently the minimum points required are 160.

Essential Skills Work Visa

If you have an offer of employment by New Zealand employers, you may be eligible to apply for Essential Skills Work Visa. To be eligible for this work visa, one must be supported by New Zealand employer.

Family Residence Visa

This is available for those who are partners or dependents of New Zealand citizens or Residence Visa holders. Parents of New Zealand citizens or Residence Visa holders may also be eligible to apply.
